Author: Jerry
[ Next ThreadPrevious ThreadNext Message Previous Message] Date Posted:07:51:13 06/27/08 Fri Williams Jackpot Party problem: Not working, here's following informaion on the displays.. Top light goes on, screen light up with Williams Dotmation + Ver 5.13, TILT light is on, Credit window says 'DOT', Win meter says 'FAIL'. Does this indicate a failure in the dot matrix power supply, or could there be another problem? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. Date Posted:18:53:49 08/13/08 Wed No question to me, your DOT power supply is bad. one of the most common failures on these Williams Machines. Let me know if you need a new one, write me at acemusician@aol.com. It is easy to replace. just pull the top glass, and on the right side is a metal box, the top power suppy in inside that. >Williams Jackpot Party problem: >Not working, here's following informaion on the >displays.. Date Posted:16:23:17 09/23/08 Tue Williams Jackpot Party problem: Not working, Had a problem as described above and replaced the DOT power suppy. The machine is still not working. Top screen lights up with Williams Dotmation + Ver 5.13 that information stays on for about a minute then the top screen goes blank. The bill validator internal wheels are spinning for a moment and then stop. The reel lights are on but the rest of the machine just looks normal. No error messages. Seems like it wants to boot up but does not fully come up & ready for play. Coins are not accepted and fall through when inserted. Is there some reset process needed when the DOT power supply is replaced? Could a fuse be out somewhere when the DOT power supply went bad? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
